“Vonvarda Cats Hotel was my first ever experience. As I am sure with anyone reading this review being away from your fur babies is traumatic enough but to leave them with a stranger! I can honestly say I don’t have any reservations or concerns. Marlene and Ray are clearly dedicated to the feline world. They run a clean and exceptionally high standard business and nothing was too much trouble. My boys were well looked after and clearly had the time of their lives. I would highly recommend them and will certainly be using them again in the future”

We never have any worries when Wilson goes to board, he has as nice a holiday as we do...
Bright, spotlessly clean, large secure pens with a fresh cuddly bed awaiting your cat, a lovely outlook over a pretty garden. On colder days the heater is on in readiness for our cat's arrival. Marlene and Ray are exceptional people and take very good care of our cat. We never have any worries when Wilson goes to board, he has as nice a holiday as we do.

Beautiful location with easy access. Very clean and tidy, with individual pens/bedding. First class care. Friendly, knowledgeable, caring and helpful owners. Best in Lothians. Highly recommend.
We would never choose anywhere else...
We have used Vonvarda Cats Hotel many times and we would never choose anywhere else! Each of the cat apartments are beautiful, spotless and filled with lovely Disney toys, blankets and scratch pads. Our cat is a grumpy old girl, but she loves it there and is sad when she has to come home! The owners are genuine animal lovers who are very knowledgeable about cats. They even have an alpaca who doesn’t like the cats to leave! It’s a happy place and we have total peace of mind when our cat goes there for a holiday.
Looked after our cat as if she was their own pet...
We have used Vonvarda Cats Hotel twice in the last two months and found them to be spotlessly clean and Ray and Marlene are very easy people to deal with who looked after our cat as if she was their own pet.

Ray and Marlene’s facility is absolutely fantastic...
I’ve been using Vonvarda for over a year now and my two cats have stayed 5 or 6 times. Ray and Marlene’s facility is absolutely fantastic. From ease of booking, to arranging drop off and pick ups nothing is too much trouble. The pens for the cats are very clean, filled with cosy beds and lots of toys. My cats love staying! Ray and Marlene obviously love animals and know my two really well. I am always happy to leave my cats in their care knowing how well looked after they are. I would recommend them to anyone.
Vonvarda is excellent in every way...
Dante and Cesare absolutely love going on holiday to Vonvarda to see Marlene, Ray and their great friend the alpaca. My cats are so happy there and their every need catered for. On collecting them they are so relaxed and have no intentions of coming home. Marlene and Ray are wonderful and very kind people who go out of their way to please. These guys really do love cats, animals and people. Vonvarda is excellent in every way. Totally spotless too. The best I’ve ever come across. Very professionally run and the only place for my little darlings. ??

Milo and Fluff say meow, they are looking forward to their next visit. We would definitely recommend Vonvarda cats Hotel. We have used them twice now, once at very short notice, and our cats have been well looked after both times. The pens are a good size, very clean and look onto a lovely garden. Ray and Marlene are excellent hosts for the cats, very friendly and very passionate about cats so you know they are in good hands. Our cats enjoy their holidays at the cattery and we wouldn't take them anywhere else.
